A 35-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing multiple gunshots at the Beverly Hills residence of global music star Rihanna, while the singer and her three children were reportedly inside the house.
Authorities identified the suspect as Ivana Lisette Ortiz, who was arrested following the incident that occurred on March 9, 2026, at Rihanna’s home in Beverly Hills, California.
According to police reports, emergency services were alerted after a 911 call reported gunfire coming from across the street toward the entrance gate of Rihanna’s property. Witnesses said the suspect was inside a white Tesla vehicle when the shots were fired before attempting to flee the scene
Law enforcement officers were able to apprehend the suspect approximately 30 minutes after the incident. During a search of the vehicle, police reportedly discovered an AR-15 rifle and spent ammunition shells.
Investigators said seven rounds were fired, with at least four bullets striking structures on the property. Despite the gunfire, authorities confirmed that no one was injured.
At the time of the shooting, Rihanna was reportedly at home with her three children, while her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, was not present.
