New Orleans Privateers’ head coach Master P is preparing his team for a unique matchup this Saturday, as they face the Houston Cougars, led by his son, sophomore guard Mercy Miller.

Speaking to TMZ Sports at Los Angeles International Airport, Master P described his son as a formidable opponent. "My son really can shoot the ball," he said. "He's dangerous. He's strong, he's physical, he can get to the basket, I mean, he can do it all. So our work gon' be cut out for us."

Mercy Miller, a standout for the 7th-ranked Cougars, has drawn attention for his performance on the court, with Master P suggesting his son could be a candidate for the 2026 NBA Draft. "He's probably one of the best college players in the world," P noted, calling him "the best kept secret."

Master P also highlighted the development of the UNO program, acknowledging the challenges of competing against larger-budget schools while emphasizing its potential for growth.
