The show, which premieres on February 4 on ABC and Disney+, marks the return of the long-running franchise nearly 50 years after its original debut by creator Jim Henson.


During an on-stage exchange, Carpenter told Miss Piggy that she considers her an idol and said she had modeled much of her personal style after the character. Miss Piggy responded humorously, staying in character with a playful remark.


In a separate interview referenced in the program, Miss Piggy jokingly suggested that Carpenter appeared intimidated during filming. Kermit the Frog later added that Carpenter brought strong energy to the production and praised her performance.


The revived Muppet Show features appearances from several high-profile guests, including Maya Rudolph, while actor Seth Rogen serves as an executive producer.
