The Chief Executive Officer of RuffTown Records, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet, says he is still paying debts he incurred while promoting the late Ghanaian singer Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known as Ebony.

Speaking in an interview on March 7, 2026, Bullet explained that many people assumed he made significant money while managing the singer. However, he said the reality was different, especially during the early stages of her career.

According to him, the team earned very little from shows and music streaming while Ebony was building her reputation in the industry.

“When she was alive, we didn’t make streams. We were not even earning much from the shows we were playing,” he said.

Bullet also addressed accusations that surfaced after Ebony’s death suggesting he had misused the singer’s money. He questioned the basis of those claims.

“When she died, a lot of things were said. They wanted to paint a picture of me misusing her funds. Which money exactly are they talking about?” he asked.

He further denied reports claiming he had disputes with Ebony’s father over properties allegedly owned by the singer.

“They were even saying I was fighting with Ebony’s dad over her properties. Which artist in Ghana here has acquired properties in two years,” he said.

Bullet explained that he invested heavily in Ebony’s career before she achieved mainstream success, including taking loans to support her promotion.

“They have no idea what I went through, but because she was everywhere, they thought things were smooth. I’m still paying debt till now,” he added.

According to him, the financial sacrifices were necessary to help the singer gain visibility and establish her brand in the competitive Ghanaian music industry.
