Nicki Minaj Sues Nigerian Influencer Dr Penking Over Video

US rapper Nicki Minaj has filed a lawsuit against Nigerian social media influencer Dr Penking over allegations of cyberbullying and copyright infringement.

The dispute reportedly began after the influencer shared an old video of the rapper on the social media platform X. Alongside the video, Dr Penking posted a comment suggesting that the musician should retire, stating that she had “gotten old.”

Minaj responded publicly to the post, questioning whether the influencer had obtained permission to use the video, which she said was recorded years earlier. The rapper also accused him of using the footage to harass her online.

“Do you have permission to use this video that I filmed years ago to harass me on this or any platform? You’ve just been added to the suit,” Minaj wrote in response.

The case has drawn attention on social media, with many users debating issues related to online conduct, copyright use, and celebrity interactions with influencers.
