According to the Daily Guide Network, Ghanaian digital influencer Gisela Amponsah has said her professional achievements have made some men hesitant to approach her romantically, a situation she believes contributes to her being single.
In a recent interview, the 26-year-old content creator explained that her prominence as one of Ghana’s most sought-after influencers can feel intimidating to potential partners, particularly those within her age group. She noted that many men appear reluctant to propose because they believe she has already reached a level of success they find daunting.
Amponsah also spoke candidly about a difficult period in her life when she struggled with severe depression. She revealed that two to three years ago, she experienced suicidal thoughts unrelated to her social media career but worsened by personal challenges and online scrutiny. She described how negative commentary from bloggers during emotionally difficult moments intensified the pressure she was facing.
She said she was able to recover after seeking professional therapy, which helped her navigate that phase of her life and regain emotional stability.
