Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has emerged as Africa’s highest-grossing concert artist, following record-breaking earnings from his recent global tour.

According to Touring Data, Burna Boy achieved the milestone during the Sydney stop of his “No Sign of Weakness” tour, where he generated approximately $1.117 million in revenue at Qudos Bank Arena.

The performance marks the highest-grossing single concert ever recorded by an African artist, reinforcing Burna Boy’s position as one of the continent’s leading global music exports.

Further data indicates that the Oceania leg of the tour has become the highest-grossing tour segment by an African artist in the region’s history. Across four shows in Australia, the singer sold about 31,000 tickets, generating a total of approximately $3.1 million in revenue.

The “No Sign of Weakness” tour spans 20 performances across North America, Europe, and Oceania, reflecting Burna Boy’s expanding international audience and commercial appeal.

Industry observers say the milestone highlights the growing global demand for African music, with artists increasingly filling large arenas outside the continent.

Burna Boy, known for hits such as On The Low, continues to set benchmarks for African artists on the global stage, with his touring success signaling a shift in the scale and reach of African music worldwide.
