Ghanaian rapper Medikal says he wants his legacy to go beyond music and entertainment as he focuses on projects aimed at creating social impact.

Speaking during an interview, the rapper revealed that he is currently discussing plans for a new tour with his team. According to him, the proposed tour will involve several public personalities and media figures.

“We are discussing a Medikal tour,” he said.

Medikal explained that he no longer wants to be remembered only for releasing hit songs, but also for making meaningful contributions to society.

“I don’t want to be remembered for that artiste who was dropping bangers all over,” he stated.

The rapper added that he hopes to use his platform to inspire young people, discourage drug abuse, and support community development projects.

“If you talk to the youth, maybe stop drugs, if you build some school or some hospital somewhere, people will remember you,” Medikal said during the interview on Joy Prime.

He also appealed for public support as he works toward reshaping his career direction and public image.
