National GENOCOST Museum Moves Forward President Tshisekedi also announced that the proposed National GENOCOST Museum is entering its operational phase, with preparatory studies and design work now underway. The government envisions the museum as a major institution for preserving archives, testimonies and physical evidence connected to crimes committed on Congolese territory. It is also expected to serve as a research centre, a place of remembrance and an educational institution where younger generations can learn about the country’s history.
