- Who Is Sam Matekane? Lesotho’s PM and His New SADC Role
Who is Sam Matekane? Explore Lesotho’s prime minister’s background, business career, election breakthrough and incoming SADC Organ role. Sam Matekane is Lesotho’s businessman-turned-prime minister, whose rapid entry into electoral politics brought him to office in October 2022. On 21 October 2026, the Southern African Development Community elected him incoming chairperson of its Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation, adding a regional security responsibility to his national leadership role. His election concerns the Organ’s leadership arrangement, rather than SADC’s overall chairpersonship. It follows a career built first in private enterprise and then through the Revolution for Prosperity party, which became the largest party in Lesotho’s parliament at its first general election. Who is Sam Matekane? Sam Matekane is Ntsokoane Samuel Matekane, a businessman and politician serving as Lesotho’s prime minister since October 2022. He founded Revolution for Prosperity and previously built the Matekane Group of Companies. In October 2026, SADC elected him incoming chair of its politics, defence and security Organ. What SADC elected him to do The SADC summit announcement identifies Matekane as the incoming chairperson of the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation. The decision was taken at a virtual extraordinary summit on 21 October, chaired by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Matekane completes the Organ Troika alongside its current chairperson, Eswatini’s King Mswati III, and outgoing chairperson, Malawi’s President Arthur Peter Mutharika. “Incoming” is the important designation: the announcement does not describe Matekane as replacing the current Organ chair immediately. The Organ sits within SADC’s regional peace and security framework. The organisation’s peace, security and governance overview connects that work to political stability, law enforcement cooperation, human security and responses to transnational crime. The same summit approved Treasure Thembisile Maphanga as deputy executive secretary for regional integration. Her Secretariat appointment is separate from Matekane’s elected political role. One concerns programme oversight; the other places a national leader within the Organ’s political leadership structure. From Mantšonyane to private enterprise Matekane was born on 15 March 1958 in Mantšonyane, in Lesotho’s Thaba-Tseka district. He is 68 as of 22 October 2026. The Lesotho Ministry of Defence’s profile identifies him as a Mosotho businessman and politician and supplies that birth date. Continue Reading Full Article BIOGRAPHY Who Is Sam Matekane? ADVERTISEMENT From Mantšonyane to private enterprise Matekane was born on 15 March 1958 in Mantšonyane, in Lesotho’s Thaba-Tseka district. He is 68 as of 22 October 2026. The Lesotho Ministry of Defence’s profile identifies him as a Mosotho businessman and politician and supplies that birth date. His route to prominence was business rather than a long sequence of elected offices. According to his RFP party biography , he established Matekane Transport and Plant Hire in 1986, the enterprise from which the Matekane Group of Companies developed. Its activities expanded into sectors including construction-related services, mining, aviation and property development. The party also records the launch of the Sam Matekane Foundation in 2020 and its community and pandemic-related assistance. These activities formed part of his public identity before he sought national office. They help explain the business-and-philanthropy background from which he entered politics, while remaining distinct from an assessment of his government’s performance. How a new party reached government Matekane founded Revolution for Prosperity in March 2022. The party contested the general election on 7 October that year, only months after its formation. The Inter-Parliamentary Union’s election record records RFP winning 56 of the National Assembly’s 120 seats. That made it the largest party, but left it short of an outright majority. It reached a coalition agreement with the Alliance of Democrats and the Movement for Economic Change. ADVERTISEMENT The result was a substantial breakthrough for a new political organisation. It also meant Matekane’s path to power depended onparliamentary cooperation. Winning the largest number of seats and being able to form a government were connected but separate steps. The Ministry of Home Affairs’ inauguration account confirms that he was sworn in as Lesotho’s tenth prime minister at Setsoto Stadium on 28 October 2022, succeeding Moeketsi Majoro. The responsibilities behind the business reputation At his inauguration, Matekane discussed attracting investment, the country’s dependence on Southern African Customs Union revenue and the need to combat corruption. Those were statements of government priorities, rather than evidence that the problems had been resolved. His commercial success also brought questions about the relationship between private enterprise and public office. A contemporary Mail & Guardian and Newsday Lesotho profile examined his construction, mining and aviation interests. It reported his response that he had no government contracts and rejected the suggestion of a conflict of interest. The distinction remains useful when reading his biography: business experience explains his background, while his political record must be judged through public decisions and their results. His new SADC designation adds another institutional responsibility rather than replacing that national accountability. Key dates in Matekane’s public career Family information Sam Matekane FAQs What is Sam Matekane’s full name? SADC identifies him as Ntsokoane Samuel Matekane. He is widely known as Sam Matekane. - Kenyan Police Detain Protesters as U.S. Ebola Facility continues
Kenya faces growing court pressure over a U.S.-backed Ebola facility in Nanyuki after police dispersed protesters. Kenya’s legal and political standoff over a proposed U.S.-backed Ebola quarantine facility deepened after police fired tear gas at protesters in Nanyuki opposing the planned 50-bed unit at Laikipia Air Base, according to Reuters . The facility is intended to host Americans exposed to Ebola but not yet showing symptoms, as the outbreak continues in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. Protesters argue that Kenya, which has not reported Ebola cases, should not carry the perceived health risk for foreign nationals. The dispute is now centered on the courts. Kenya’s High Court has issued orders halting steps toward construction or operation of the site, while also requiring the government to disclose agreements and operational protocols linked to the project. Despite the legal challenge, Reuters reported that U.S. personnel and equipment have continued moving toward the site. The BBC also reported that satellite imagery showed construction activity continuing despite the court order. President William Ruto has defended the plan, saying Kenya is doing the right thing in responding to a serious health emergency. U.S. officials have said Kenya was selected for proximity and regional access, while also saying they are working with Kenyan authorities to resolve objections. The backlash follows earlier protests in Nanyuki in which two people were killed. Public anger has focused on transparency, public health safeguards, and whether the facility would serve only Americans or also Kenyans and other foreign nationals. The next phase of the dispute is likely to depend on how the Kenyan government responds to court demands and whether officials release the agreements behind the quarantine plan. Until then, the facility remains a test of public trust, judicial oversight, and Kenya’s role in regional outbreak preparedness. - Ibrahim Mahama Offers 100 Jobs to Returning Ghanaians
Ibrahim Mahama has pledged 100 jobs for Ghanaians returning from South Africa as the government expands support for citizens affected by xenophobic violence Ghanaian businessman Ibrahim Mahama has pledged 100 immediate job opportunities for Ghanaians returning home from South Africa following recent xenophobic attacks and anti-immigrant violence. The announcement was made by Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as the government received returnees at Accra International Airport. According to the minister, nearly 200 jobs have already been secured through private-sector support, with Mahama's contribution accounting for half of the opportunities currently available. Ibrahim Mahama, founder and CEO of Engineers & Planners and brother of President John Dramani Mahama, is among several business leaders stepping forward to help citizens rebuild their lives after being forced to leave South Africa. The Ghanaian government has been evacuating citizens from South Africa since late May after a new wave of xenophobic attacks targeted foreign nationals in several communities. Hundreds of Ghanaians have already returned home, while reports indicate that nearly 1,000 citizens have been processed through the repatriation program. Many left behind businesses, jobs, and personal belongings after facing threats, harassment, and growing insecurity. The government says returnees are receiving medical assistance, psychosocial support, and reintegration services as they begin a new chapter back home. Beyond government support, private companies are increasingly becoming part of the reintegration effort. Telecommunications firms and other businesses have reportedly expressed interest in offering employment opportunities to affected citizens. Officials say these partnerships will play an important role in helping returnees regain financial stability. Ablakwa praised the quick response from the private sector, describing it as an example of national solidarity during a difficult moment for many Ghanaian families. While the job pledges have been widely welcomed, observers note that long-term reintegration will require more than employment opportunities alone. - Kinshasa steps up OIF campaign with Chad support push
DR Congo is seeking African backing for Juliana Lumumba’s bid to lead the Francophonie. The Democratic Republic of Congo is intensifying its diplomatic campaign ahead of the 2026 leadership election for the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), with Kinshasa seeking Chad’s support for its candidate Juliana Lumumba Amato. During a mission to N'Djamena, Minister Delegate for Francophonie Crispin Mbadu Phanzu and Juliana Lumumba delivered a message from President Félix Tshisekedi to Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno as part of broader efforts to secure African backing before the November 2026 vote. Kinshasa is basing part of its argument on the Democratic Republic of Congo’s demographic position as the world’s largest French-speaking country by number of speakers. Congolese officials say this gives the country a legitimate claim to play a greater role within the Francophonie and help shape the organisation’s future direction. Juliana Lumumba has proposed reforms aimed at making the Francophonie more political, more economically connected and closer to the priorities of member populations. Congolese officials say the initiative includes several projects designed to strengthen cooperation and cohesion within the French-speaking bloc. The Chad visit follows earlier diplomatic outreach missions to countries including Cape Verde and the Republic of Congo, reflecting what Kinshasa describes as a wider African engagement strategy ahead of the election. The OIF vote, scheduled for Cambodia in November 2026, is expected to oppose incumbent Secretary General Louise Mushikiwabo of Rwanda, who is seeking another term, against Juliana Lumumba as DR Congo pushes for a new strategic direction within the organisation. Matovu, widely known as Papa Moi, was born on 19 June 1949 and was 77. He entered professional music in the late 1960s, performing with the Thunderbirds, Police Band and Cranes Band before helping form Afrigo Band in 1975. He became the group’s leader, vocalist, composer and saxophonist. Across five decades, Afrigo survived political upheaval, changing performance venues, the loss or departure of members and repeated shifts in Uganda’s popular-music market. ADVERTISEMENT The band marked its 50th anniversary in 2025. Uganda’s Government Citizen Interaction Centre described Afrigo’s five decades as a story of resilience and continuing relevance. Matovu remained central to that story, performing with younger musicians and sustaining a live-band tradition that connected several generations. XTRAfrica’s Moses Matovu music page and Afrigo Band catalogue page document the artist and group separately. The band also nurtured recognised performers including Joanita Kawalya , whose career became closely associated with Afrigo’s sound. Matovu received several lifetime-achievement honours. HiPipo recognised him in 2021 for a career that had helped shape Uganda’s music industry. He was also honoured by the Janzi Awards and other Ugandan entertainment institutions. His importance was larger than any one trophy. He helped keep a professional band operating over an unusually long period, protected the value of rehearsal and live instrumentation, and created room for new singers and instrumentalists to join an established institution. Blessing CEO, whose full name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka , has pleaded not guilty to two charges involving obtaining money by false pretence and stealing. The court also directed that Blessing CEO and the sureties be profiled through the Lagos State Judiciary’s Bail Information Management System. During the bail hearing, the court asked about her international passport. Her lawyer said it had been lost and submitted an affidavit of loss and public notices relating to the missing document. Justice Oshodi then ordered that the Nigerian Immigration Service be informed of the travel restrictions placed on Blessing CEO while the trial remains pending. The case was adjourned until October 12, 2026 , for continuation of trial. What is Blessing CEO accused of? The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, arraigned Blessing CEO before the Lagos State Special Offences Court on June 9, 2026. The commission alleges that she obtained ₦69,150,000 from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited on March 21, 2025. According to the charge reported by The Punch , the money was connected to a five-year lease for a property on Tunbosun Osobu Street in the Lekki area of Lagos. Prosecutors allege that Blessing CEO represented that the property belonged to her and could be leased to the company. They claim that representation was false. The first count is based on the alleged act of obtaining money by false pretence. The second alleges that the ₦69.15 million was dishonestly converted to her personal use. These are allegations contained in a criminal charge. They have not been proved at trial. How did Blessing CEO plead? Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to both counts when they were read to her. Her plea means the prosecution must present evidence and prove the charges in court. The defence will have the opportunity to challenge that evidence, call witnesses where necessary and present its case. As of July 24, 2026, the court had not convicted or acquitted her in the ₦69.15 million case. ADVERTISEMENT Does bail mean Blessing CEO is free of the charges? No. Bail is not the same as an acquittal. A bail decision deals mainly with whether a defendant may remain outside custody while a criminal case is pending. Courts can attach conditions intended to ensure that the defendant appears for future hearings and does not interfere with the process. The ₦20 million bail, surety requirements and travel restrictions do not decide whether Blessing CEO committed the alleged offences. That question remains for the court to determine after hearing the evidence. Why was Blessing CEO arrested? The immediate case behind the July 2026 bail ruling concerns the EFCC’s allegation that Blessing CEO received ₦69.15 million through a disputed property lease. She was arraigned on June 9 and initially remanded in EFCC custody pending further proceedings. The court later considered her application and granted the ₦20 million bail. Search results can be confusing because Blessing CEO has faced more than one legal proceeding. Reports about different courts, bail amounts and alleged sums should not be merged into one case. The ₦69.15 million and ₦36 million cases are separate The Ikeja Special Offences Court proceeding involves the alleged ₦69.15 million Lekki property transaction and the ₦20 million bail granted by Justice Oshodi. Separately, Nigerian news organisations reported that a Federal High Court in Lagos granted her ₦10 million bail in another alleged fraud case involving ₦36 million . That separate bail reportedly required two sureties, including one family member, as well as identification, employment and tax documents. Premium Times and The Punch reported on the Federal High Court proceeding. There has also been separate reporting about charges connected to a public cancer-fundraising controversy. Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty in that proceeding as well, according to Premium Times . Each charge must be judged on its own evidence, court record and eventual outcome. A development in one case should not be presented as the result of another. Blessing CEO biography Blessing CEO is a Nigerian relationship-content creator, influencer and entrepreneur known for discussing marriage, dating, sex, domestic abuse and women’s independence. Her direct and often controversial style has made her a familiar name in Nigeria’s online entertainment space. Supporters describe her as outspoken, while critics frequently challenge her advice and public claims. She built much of her visibility through short videos, livestreams and social-media commentary. Her personal experiences, including a marriage she has described as abusive, became part of the story behind her relationship platform. Blessing CEO’s real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka . Nigerian media profiles often write the name as Blessing Nkiruka Okoro. The charge cited in the 2026 property case lists her as Okoro Blessing Nkiruka. “Blessing CEO” is the public name she uses across her relationship-content and social-media career. The “CEO” label became closely associated with her personal brand rather than representing a separate legal identity. How old is Blessing CEO? Blessing CEO is commonly reported to have been born on May 23, 1989 . On that basis, she would be 37 years old as of July 24, 2026. However, published reports are not completely consistent about her age. For example, Premium Times described her as 36 in June 2026. XTRAfrica has not seen a public birth record or government biography independently confirming the date, so 37 should be described as her commonly reported age rather than an established official record. ADVERTISEMENT Where is Blessing CEO from? Blessing CEO is from Ebonyi State in southeastern Nigeria. Profiles of the influencer connect her family background to Onicha Local Government Area. She is part of a generation of Nigerian personalities who built their careers primarily through digital platforms instead of first becoming known through traditional television, radio or print media. Education and early career Published profiles say Blessing CEO studied Economics at the University of Calabar and later worked in an administrative role connected to the Nigeria Police Force Pension office before focusing on online content. Some profiles also describe additional counselling or sex-therapy training. However, detailed claims about every qualification are not consistently supported by primary records available to the public. The better-established part of her career is her work as a relationship commentator and the founder of a platform commonly called Break or Make Up . How Blessing CEO became famous Blessing CEO turned relationship advice into a full-time social-media identity. Her content regularly addresses breakups, infidelity, marriage, financial expectations, sexual relationships and the pressures faced by women. She often uses personal stories and blunt opinions to provoke discussion. That approach helped her gain a large audience because her videos were easy to debate and share. It also made controversy a recurring part of her public career. She has described her early marriage and divorce as major influences on her decision to speak about relationships. Rather than presenting herself only as an academic expert, she built her brand around lived experience, direct language and public interaction with followers. Over time, her work expanded beyond advice videos into paid promotions, appearances, interviews, counselling-related content and other business activities attached to her name. Blessing CEO’s marriage and children Blessing CEO has publicly said that she married young and left the marriage after experiencing domestic abuse. In interviews and social-media discussions, she has said she met her former husband as a teenager, married at about 18 and was divorced by 21. She has also publicly identified herself as a mother of two sons. Her account of that experience became central to her message about women’s independence and leaving violent relationships. Details about her current legal marital status and private family arrangements are often mixed with rumours, engagement posts and entertainment reporting. They should not be stated as fact without direct, current confirmation. The 2019 mansion controversy Blessing CEO first became nationally notorious in 2019 after claiming that she owned a large house in Enugu. The property was later identified as belonging to businessman Onye Eze. Videos circulated showing Blessing CEO acknowledging that the house was not hers. She later explained in an interview that she was building her own house but had failed to complete it before a personal deadline, so she used images of the other property. Premium Times revisited the episode in 2026, describing how it shaped her public reputation. The 2019 mansion controversy is relevant to her biography, but it is not the same transaction at the centre of the 2026 ₦69.15 million criminal trial. The ₦69.15 million case is expected to continue before the Lagos State Special Offences Court on October 12, 2026. Blessing CEO must satisfy the bail conditions and obey the travel restriction while the case remains pending. At the continuation of trial, the prosecution may call witnesses and present documents supporting its allegation about the property lease and payment. The defence will be able to cross-examine witnesses and challenge the prosecution’s case. Until the court delivers a final judgment, Blessing CEO remains a defendant who has pleaded not guilty. Reports should avoid describing the allegations as established fraud or calling the bail ruling a clearance. Frequently asked questions What is Blessing CEO’s real name? Her full name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, also written in media profiles as Blessing Nkiruka Okoro. Why was Blessing CEO arrested? In the case behind the July 2026 bail ruling, the EFCC accused her of obtaining ₦69.15 million from a company through an allegedly false representation about a Lekki property lease. She pleaded not guilty. She has faced other, separate proceedings, so reports about an arrest should always identify the date, court and alleged amount involved. How much bail was Blessing CEO granted? The Lagos State Special Offences Court granted her ₦20 million bail with two sureties in the same amount in the alleged ₦69.15 million property case. A separate Federal High Court proceeding reportedly involved ₦10 million bail. The two rulings should not be confused. Is Blessing CEO allowed to travel? The court ordered the Nigerian Immigration Service to be notified of travel restrictions pending determination of the ₦69.15 million case. Was Blessing CEO convicted of fraud? No conviction has been reported in the ₦69.15 million case as of July 24, 2026. She pleaded not guilty, and the trial is ongoing. When is Blessing CEO’s next court date? - Who Is Douglas Kanja? Kenya Police Chief and Court Warning
Who is Douglas Kanja? His police career, rise to inspector-general and the High Court warning issued after a contempt finding in Kenya. Kenya’s High Court discharged Inspector-General of Police Douglas Kanja with a stern warning on September 28, 2026, after he had been found in contempt over Nairobi road closures. Kanja is a career police officer who became the fifth head of the National Police Service in September 2024 after rising through senior operational and command posts. Who is Douglas Kanja? Douglas Kanja Kirocho is Kenya’s inspector-general of police and a career officer who joined the service in 1985. He became the country’s fifth police chief in 2024. In September 2026, the High Court found him in contempt, then discharged him with a stern warning rather than imposing a punitive sentence. Why Douglas Kanja Is in the News Justice Patricia Nyaundi discharged Kanja with a warning after considering his personal appearance in court, his undertaking to pass the court’s directions down the police command structure and his assurance that the breach would not recur. The September 28 court report said the judge did not see a reason to impose a punitive sentence on this occasion, while warning that a repeat could attract a custodial sentence. That outcome did not erase the earlier contempt finding. On September 17, the court held Kanja personally responsible for failing to ensure that the public received timely notice before police erected emergency roadblocks and barricades during the June 25, 2026 protests. A detailed account of the contempt ruling reported that the underlying conservatory order dated to July 2025. The distinction matters: Kanja was discharged with a warning at the sanction stage; the contempt finding itself was not reported as overturned or set aside. The case also drew attention to freedom of movement, protest rights and the duty of state officers to obey court orders. The Katiba Institute response to the finding framed it as an accountability and rule-of-law decision. His Rise Through Kenya’s Police Service Kanja’s official record presents a long career rather than a sudden political appointment. The National Police Service Commission profile says he joined the service in 1985 as a recruit police constable and advanced through operational, supervisory and command ranks over roughly four decades. Before becoming inspector-general, he served as deputy inspector-general of the Kenya Police Service. His earlier leadership posts included five years as commandant of the General Service Unit, three years as the unit’s deputy commandant, Kilifi County police commander and deputy commandant of the Kenya Airports Police Unit. He also worked as chief armourer and deputy chief armourer at police headquarters. President William Ruto nominated Kanja for the top police job in 2024. Parliament’s joint vetting process examined his suitability before the Senate approved his nomination on September 13. He then took office after a Supreme Court ceremony, becoming the fifth inspector-general. The National Police Service Commission’s swearing-in record dates the ceremony to September 19, 2024. That makes the office central to operational direction, public communication and compliance with constitutional and judicial requirements. The 2026 proceedings focused on that command responsibility. The court rejected the idea that internal police procedures could displace a binding order and treated public notice before emergency road closures as an obligation resting on police leadership. - Mariah Carey Performance Sparks Lip-Sync Debate at Winter Olympics
Mariah Carey’s Winter Olympics 2026 opening performance sparks debate as viewers question whether her vocals were live. Mariah Carey’s performance at the opening ceremony of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics has sparked online debate over whether her vocals were performed live. The six-time Grammy Award winner took the stage as part of the globally televised ceremony, which aimed to symbolically link Milan’s contemporary culture with the alpine heritage of Cortina d’Ampezzo. Carey opened her set in Italian with Nel Blu, dipinto di Blu , widely known as Volare , before transitioning into Nothing Is Impossible from her 2025 album Here For It All . Soon after the broadcast, social media users began pointing out moments where Carey’s lip movements appeared slightly out of sync with the audio, raising speculation that the performance may have relied on pre-recorded vocals. Neither Carey’s representatives nor Olympic organisers have commented on the claims. The broadcast itself did not clarify whether the vocals were live, contrasting with previous Olympic ceremonies where live performances were explicitly highlighted. The discussion gained further traction as other musical segments during the ceremony, including performances by Laura Pausini and Andrea Bocelli, were widely praised for their apparent live delivery. While the ceremony’s official theme, Harmony , was intended to highlight unity, Carey’s performance has emerged as one of the first viral talking points of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Games. - Nigeria’s New Performance Management System Explained
Nigeria’s new PMS replaces APER with SMART goals, regular reviews, and accountability measures. Here’s how it works and why it matters for civil servants. Understanding Nigeria’s New Performance Management System (PMS) For decades, Nigeria’s civil service relied on the Annual Performance Evaluation Report (APER). But APER was flawed; it lacked alignment with national goals, failed to encourage accountability, and ultimately led to poor service delivery. In 2022, the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation introduced a new Performance Management System (PMS) to replace APER and transform how public servants are evaluated. Why PMS Matters The PMS is not just about appraisals; it’s about reforming Nigeria’s civil service. The system aims to: Align ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) with national strategic plans. Set clear, measurable goals (SMART targets) for employees. Improve transparency, efficiency, and accountability. Reward high performers and support underperformers with development plans. Strengthen public trust by linking government performance to citizen impact. Goal Alignment Every civil servant’s objectives now link directly to: National Development Plans Medium Term Sector Strategies (MTSS) Annual budgets and sector priorities This ensures everyone, from top ministries to junior staff, works toward the same big-picture goals. 2. The Employee Performance Cycle The PMS introduces a structured cycle of: Planning – employees and supervisors agree on job objectives and KPIs. Review – monthly check-ins and quarterly reviews. Appraisal – formal quarterly and end-of-year evaluations. 3. SMART Targets & KPIs Employees must agree on 3–7 SMART objectives tied to their job description and departmental goals. Progress is measured through clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). ADVERTISEMENT 4. Rewards & Sanctions Exceed expectations → recognition and career advancement. Underperform → a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) is triggered, with coaching and training support. Continued underperformance may lead to HR actions. 5. Transparency & Dispute Resolution Employees can appeal appraisals. Disputes are resolved at the HR department level and, if needed, escalated to Staff Committees. Position Nigeria’s civil service to deliver better outcomes aligned with Vision 2025 and beyond. Final Word The PMS is a bold shift away from the “business as usual” culture in government. For civil servants, it means clarity, accountability, and recognition. For citizens, it promises better service delivery and governance outcomes. 🌍 If implemented faithfully, PMS could mark the rebirth of Nigeria’s public service.
