Tina Salama Educates Kinshasa Students on DRC-Rwanda Peace Deal
Presidential Spokesperson Tina Salama visits ISSKIN to educate students on peace efforts and expose propaganda surrounding the DRC-Rwanda conflict.
7/27/25, 6:26 PM
Following the visit of the Minister of Communication and Government Spokesperson, Patrick Muyaya, to the University of Kinshasa, where he moderated a conference-debate on the pacification process of the DRC, it was the turn of the spokesperson for President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, Mrs. Tina Salama, to conduct an awareness campaign.
On Friday, July 25, 2025, Mrs. Salama visited the Higher Institute of Statistics of Kinshasa (ISSKIN) to engage directly with the student community. This outreach is part of a broader initiative in which all members of the Tshisekedi administration are actively involved in raising awareness to counter the manipulative narratives promoted by RPF propagandists.
Before an attentive and engaged audience, Tina Salama led a several-hour conference-debate focused on the peace agreement signed in Washington between the DRC and Rwanda. She educated the ISSKIN students on the historical, political, and economic dimensions of the conflict between the DRC and its neighbor, Rwanda, while also highlighting future prospects.
Salama took this opportunity to promote the bold diplomatic and economic policies of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo. She encouraged students and lecturers alike to embrace the Congolese narrative in the face of foreign manipulation and to support the President’s efforts to build lasting peace actively.
Echoing Minister Muyaya’s message, she urged students to rely only on official documents and to reject disinformation spread by pseudo-media outlets working in the interest of Kigali.
At the close of this enriching and educational exchange, students expressed their gratitude to the President’s spokesperson and pledged to stand as ambassadors of truth and peace in their communities.
