You can print your JAMB admission letter online through the official e-Facility portal after your admission is available on the JAMB system. The letter is the formal document schools often request during clearance and matriculation.

Use only jamb.gov.ng domains. Do not pay agents who ask you to send money to a personal account for “express printing.”

Quick answer

  1. Log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng with your registered email and password.

  2. Confirm your admission on CAPS and accept the offer if you have not done so yet. Guide: How to check and accept on JAMB CAPS.

  3. Select Print Admission Letter on the e-Facility dashboard or side bar.

  4. Note the Transaction ID, choose a payment gateway, and pay the official fee shown on the portal.

  5. Enter your exam year and JAMB registration number, then download or print the letter PDF.

What you need

  • The email address and password linked to your JAMB profile.

  • Your JAMB registration number.

  • The correct exam year for that registration.

  • An admission record on JAMB (usually after your school has processed the offer on CAPS).

  • A working payment method accepted by the portal gateway.

  • A phone or computer that can download a PDF, plus a printer or trusted print shop.

Current official fee

JAMB’s Payment & Services page lists:

  • JAMB Admission Letter: ₦1,000

  • CBT service charge: ₦100

A payment gateway may add its own transaction charge. Always confirm the amount on the official confirmation page before you authorise payment.

Do not confuse this with other letter-related services on the same fees page:

  • Change of Admission Letter with Registration Number: ₦5,000 (plus ₦300 CBT charge)

  • Fresh Application Admission Letter with JAMB Registration Number: ₦5,000 (plus ₦300 CBT charge)

Those are different processes from the standard Print Admission Letter service.

How to print your JAMB admission letter

These steps follow JAMB’s official Admission Letter Printing instructions.

1. Open e-Facility and sign in

Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/. New users must create a profile with a valid email, names, mobile number, state, LGA and password. Existing users sign in with email and password. Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.

2. Accept admission on CAPS if needed

If your school has offered you admission, open CAPS from your profile, check the status, and accept the offer before you expect a normal admission letter to print. If CAPS still shows awaiting or no offer, the letter service will not produce a valid letter for that admission yet.

3. Select Print Admission Letter

On the landing page, choose Print Admission Letter from the side bar or home page services list.

4. Note your Transaction ID and pay

JAMB generates a Transaction ID when you select the service. It appears on the confirmation page in bold red and is also emailed to you. Keep it for payment checks and support.

Review the confirmation details, choose your preferred payment gateway, then continue and pay.

Payment status appears under My Payment. You also get an email with the Transaction ID and payment status.

5. Enter exam year and registration number

After payment is completed, provide:

  • Year of Exam

  • JAMB Registration Number

Enter both carefully. A wrong year or number will block printing or show the wrong record.

6. Download and print the letter

When the details are correct, the admission letter displays on screen. Download the PDF, check your name, course, institution and registration number, then print clear copies on A4 paper. Keep a digital backup.

After you print

JAMB’s Matriculation List guidance asks candidates to print the admission letter and result slip from e-Facility and verify both with the admission officer at the institution. Result slip guide: How to print your JAMB result slip.

Common problems and fixes

No admission letter / cannot print

  • Confirm on CAPS that you have been offered admission and that you accepted it.

  • Confirm you paid for the Print Admission Letter service and that My Payment shows success.

  • Re-enter the exact exam year and registration number used for that admission.

  • If payment is unclear, query it with your Transaction Reference ID at efacility.jamb.gov.ng/querypayment.

Forgot e-Facility password

Use the official Forgot Password option on the e-Facility login page. Do not share your password with a café attendant or agent.

Wrong names or course on the letter

Do not edit a PDF yourself for school use. Use JAMB’s official correction or change-of-admission-letter processes and the fees listed on the Payment & Services page. Raise a ticket on support.jamb.gov.ng if the portal record is wrong.

Scam warning

  • Genuine pages use jamb.gov.ng or official JAMB subdomains.

  • JAMB does not ask you to send admission-letter fees to a personal bank or mobile-money account.

  • Keep your email, password, Transaction ID and registration number private.

FAQs

Where do I print the letter?

On the official e-Facility portal. JAMB’s instruction page links the process to efacility.jamb.gov.ng.

How much does it cost?

The Payment & Services schedule lists ₦1,000 for JAMB Admission Letter and ₦100 CBT service charge. Confirm the live amount on your payment screen.

Do I need to accept admission first?

Yes in practice. You need an admission record, and accepting the offer on CAPS is the normal step before a printable letter is available for that offer.

Is this the same as a change of admission letter?

No. Change of Admission Letter and Fresh Application Admission Letter are separate, higher-fee services on JAMB’s fees table.
