Trying to accept your University of Cape Town (UCT) offer online? Whether it's for admission or student housing, this quick step-by-step guide will show you how to do it easily using the PeopleSoft Self-Service platform.

🎓 Step-by-Step: Accept or Decline Your Admission Offer

1. Go to the UCT PeopleSoft Self-Service👉 Login page: https://student.uct.ac.za

2. Log in using your credentials

   • Enter your User ID (Student Number) in uppercase (e.g. ABC123456)

   • Enter your UCT password

   • Click Sign In

     
     

3. Click the ‘Offers’ tile on the Student Homepage.

4. Navigate to the Admissions Tab

   • Click the arrow ( > ) next to the offer you'd like to accept or decline.

     
     

5. Click ‘Accept/Decline’

6. Confirm your selection

   • A pop-up message will appear

   • Click Yes to confirm

     
     

7. To review your choice

   • Go to the Admissions tile

   • Select Admission Status from the side menu

   • Your choice (Accepted/Declined) will show under the Status column.

2. Click ‘Accept/Decline’

3. Choose Yes or No on the accommodation pop-up message to confirm your choice.
