Authorities have kept the case sealed, offering no major public updates as questions continue to mount. Despite the limited official information, online speculation has intensified, with social media users examining the rapper’s past lyrics and digital activity for possible clues.

A friend of the rapper, who spoke to The Mirror US under anonymity, said D4vd appeared “completely normal” leading up to the investigation. He described the artist as an introvert who spent significant time gaming, noting that they frequently played titles such as Call of Duty and NBA 2K. The friend added that D4vd often associated with what he described as a “weird and odd” group of companions.

D4vd, known for his breakout hit “Romantic Homicide,” previously hosted gaming livestreams. Some users on X claimed that screenshots from old streams showed comments from Hernandez in the chat, though these claims have not been verified.

Initially, police did not list D4vd as a suspect. However, after additional undisclosed evidence surfaced, the Los Angeles Police Department formally named him as a suspect in the homicide.
