Is the 2026 WAEC Result Out?
Yes. WAEC announced the results of the 2026 Computer-Based WASSCE for School Candidates on 5 August 2026.
At the time of release, WAEC said it had fully processed and released the results of 1,834,695 candidates, representing 94.05% of those who sat the examination. A further 116,031 results were still being processed because of technical and other issues.
WAEC also withheld 167,486 results over alleged examination malpractice. A withheld result is not the same as a final cancellation; reported cases must pass through the Council's review process.

Step 1: Open WAECdirect
Go directly to www.waecdirect.org. The page should display the WAEC result-checker form.
Step 2: Enter your examination number
Type the full 10-digit examination number without spaces. Check it against your examination document or school record.

A “result not available” or “no result for this candidate” message can occur when:
