About the PIC External Bursary
The Public Investment Corporation SOC Ltd (PIC) is South Africaâs largest asset manager, overseeing over R3 trillion in assets on behalf of government clients like the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF), Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), and Compensation Fund.
To support education and transformation, PIC invites applications for its External Bursary Programme for 2026, designed for financially needy, unemployed South African citizens who show strong academic potential and come from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
