Omeche Oko Hospitalised After Accident on Lagos Movie Set

A movie scene turned frightening for Nollywood actress Omeche Oko after a motorbike accident left her hospitalised just days before her birthday.

According to the source article, Oko was filming on a movie location in Lagos with fellow actor Victory Michael when the bike they were using crashed into a pole during production.

The actress later shared a video of the incident on her Instagram page on Wednesday, giving fans a closer look at the dangerous moment. In the clip, Victory Michael was riding the bike while Oko sat behind him before the crash happened.

The accident left Victory Michael briefly unconscious after hitting his chest against the pole. Oko suffered a broken leg and was quickly taken to an undisclosed medical facility alongside her colleague.

Crew members and colleagues at the location rushed to help both actors after the crash. The moment has since sparked fresh conversations about the risks actors face while shooting action scenes in Nollywood.

In her Instagram caption, Oko said the experience reminded her how fragile life can be. She thanked God for surviving and asked people to show more love to actors, noting that many performers take serious risks for their craft.
