According to The Sun Nigeria, American rapper Nicki Minaj has spoken publicly about her continued support for former United States President Donald Trump, saying criticism directed at him has only deepened her admiration.

The Trinidad-born artist, who is 43, described herself as Trump’s most committed supporter and said negative reactions from his opponents have not influenced her stance. Instead, she noted that public backlash has strengthened her resolve to stand by him.

Minaj made the remarks during a public appearance where Trump invited her on stage after she expressed support for a policy initiative known as “Trump Accounts,” a programme designed to provide trust funds for children. She said her views were firm and unlikely to change.

The rapper added that she does not believe Trump should be subjected to what she described as persistent attacks by his critics. She stated that she sees strength behind his leadership and expressed personal belief that he remains protected.

Minaj’s comments come amid ongoing public debate over celebrity involvement in US political discourse, particularly when entertainers openly endorse polarising political figures.
