South Africa’s 2026 National Senior Certificate examination period has started for learners completing practical assessments in Performing Arts.
The official Department of Basic Education timetable shows that Performing Arts practical examinations run from 3 August to 9 October 2026. Visual Arts and Design practical assessments follow from 14 September to 13 October 2026.
The Life Orientation common assessment task will be written on 1 September 2026, while the main written examination programme begins in October.
Learners should download the official timetable, identify every paper they are registered to write and confirm school-specific practical arrangements with their teachers.
