Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has agreed to a proposed celebrity boxing match with fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, but with a condition involving the event’s promoter.

The bout, which has been under discussion for nearly two years, could move forward if Anjorin’s demand is met.

In a post shared on Instagram, Anjorin said she would only participate in the fight if promoter Paul Okoye, also known as Paulo, agrees to face her husband, Chief Lawal, in a 10-round boxing match.

According to her, the proposed match between her and Iyabo Ojo would take place the day after the bout involving Okoye and her husband.

“As at today, I accept your challenge. You and Chief Lawal will fight 10 rounds non-stop in the ring. Then the next day, it will be Iyabo Ojo and me in the ring,” she stated.

The fight was initially proposed in 2024 with a reported prize, but did not materialise at the time due to ongoing tensions between the actresses.

Anjorin also challenged Ojo and Okoye to present verifiable proof of their assets and achievements, as part of ongoing exchanges linked to their long-standing feud.

The renewed proposal has reignited public interest in a potential celebrity boxing match between the two actresses.
