According to a report by the Congo Research Group (CRG) at NYU, Kabila and his family control over 80 companies across Congo and abroad. These include diamond mines, real estate, farms, airlines, fuel depots, telecoms, and even road construction firms.
Kabila’s sister owns a secret stake in Vodacom Congo. His brother profited from World Bank contracts. His daughter was listed as a mining shareholder at just four years old." — CRG Report

The family owns 71,000+ hectares of farmland, nearly 10x the size of Manhattan.
Many of their businesses received contracts from the UN, the World Bank, and US agencies, despite obvious conflicts of interest.
