Ghanaian musician King Promise has disclosed that his parents have begun asking him about having children, even though he says he is not yet ready to settle down.
Speaking in a recent interview, the singer said his parents have openly expressed their desire for a grandchild, occasionally referencing the children featured in his music videos.
King Promise, who won Artiste of the Year at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, said he has met several women over the years but believes the time is not right for marriage.
He explained that he is still navigating life and expects to settle down at a later stage. The singer also noted that his perspective on choosing a life partner has evolved, adding that he no longer prioritises physical attributes as he once did.
According to him, emotional connection now matters more than appearance.
Meanwhile, King Promise is preparing for his annual Promised Land concert, scheduled for December 30, 2025, at the Ghud Park.
