Media personality Chioma Agwunobi has launched an initiative titled Creatives Night of Worship, aimed at integrating faith into the media and entertainment space.
Agwunobi, a journalist, filmmaker, actress and event host, recently held the event in Lekki, Lagos, bringing together individuals in the creative industry for a night of worship and reflection.
She explained that the idea for the gathering was inspired by a personal conviction to include spirituality in professional pursuits, particularly within the creative sector.
According to Agwunobi, the initiative is a response to what she described as increasing moral challenges in society, with the aim of encouraging creatives to align their work with faith-based values.
The event is also designed to serve as a platform for networking, worship and mutual support among creatives who may feel disconnected from traditional religious spaces.
Agwunobi noted that the gathering is expected to take place multiple times a year, providing opportunities for participants to engage in worship while remaining active in their respective industries.
Her background spans television production, filmmaking and event hosting, reflecting a long-standing presence in the media and creative sector.
She emphasised that the initiative seeks to create a space where creatives can freely express their faith while navigating professional environments.
