Fall Ngagne of Rayon Sports could be out for six months after suffering a knee injury in the match against Amagaju FC.

Fall Ngagne, a forward for Rayon Sports, could be out of action for six months due to a serious injury he sustained in a match against Amagaju FC.

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, Rayon Sports played Amagaju FC in Huye, ending the match with a 1-1 draw. However, the team not only lost points but also their star striker, Fall Ngagne, who had to be taken off the field before the match ended due to a severe injury.

This is not the first injury for the Senegalese forward, who also suffered a previous injury during a Peace Cup match against Rutsiro FC in the 68th minute.

Sources within Rayon Sports confirm that Ngagne injured his knee and will undergo surgery on the cruciate ligaments. This means he could be out for up to six months, possibly missing the rest of the 2024/25 season.

Ngagne was one of the team's most important players, leading the scoring chart with 13 goals in the league. His absence will be a big blow to the team’s chances for the rest of the season.
