Approved beneficiaries of the SASSA Social Relief of Distress grant can update their payment information through the official SRD website.
SASSA requires the bank account to belong to the grant applicant. It cannot pay an SRD grant into another person’s account. Applicants choosing a mobile money-transfer option must also use a cellphone number registered in their own name.
New details apply only to future payments after SASSA completes verification.
