Nollywood actress Sandra Okunzuwa has spoken about the emotional challenges actors face while filming romantic scenes, revealing that kissing scenes in movies once contributed to the end of her relationship.

Speaking during an interview on the BTS Reality Show, the actress said many people wrongly believe actors enjoy intimate scenes on set, whereas the experience is often uncomfortable and emotionally demanding.

According to Okunzuwa, romantic scenes are usually filmed under professional conditions with large production crews present, making it difficult for actors to feel emotionally connected during such moments.

The actress said intimate scenes can sometimes create tension in personal relationships, especially when partners struggle to separate acting from real-life emotions.

Okunzuwa recalled an incident where her former boyfriend confronted her after receiving a video clip showing her kissing another actor during a movie shoot. She explained that the situation placed strain on the relationship and eventually contributed to its collapse.

The actress added that she understands why some people may find it difficult to date actors because of the emotional demands and public nature of the profession.

Her comments have sparked discussions online about the pressures faced by actors, the realities of filmmaking and the impact of entertainment careers on personal relationships.
