The Grammy winner shared nostalgic images of sugarcane fields, traditional meals and the island’s beaches. In her message, she congratulated Barbados on its continued development, noting the installation of the country’s second president, Lieutenant Colonel The Most Honourable Jeffrey Bostic. She also acknowledged the leadership of Prime Minister Mia Mottley.
