Rapper Offset Shot Outside Florida Casino

American rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus, popularly known as Offset, has been hospitalised after being shot outside a casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States.

The incident occurred on Monday evening in the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Authorities confirmed that the rapper is currently in stable condition and receiving medical care.

According to his spokesperson, Offset is being closely monitored at the hospital following the shooting. Police also confirmed that two individuals have been detained in connection with the incident, while investigations remain ongoing.

Law enforcement officials stated that officers responded promptly to the scene and secured the area, assuring the public that there is no ongoing threat.

Offset, a member of the rap group Migos and a prominent figure in the global hip-hop scene, was previously married to Cardi B, with whom he shares two children.

The shooting comes more than three years after the death of fellow Migos member Takeoff, who was fatally shot in 2022.
