Blaqbonez Explains Why He Can’t Commit to One Woman

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has said that his lifestyle as an artist makes it difficult for him to commit to a single romantic partner.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Ada’s Room podcast, the artist explained that the demands of his career and constant interactions with people disrupt the consistency needed to maintain a stable relationship.

He noted that individuals with more structured routines are better positioned to build lasting relationships, as they are able to dedicate more time to their partners. In contrast, he said, artists face frequent disruptions that make long-term commitment more challenging.

“In a relationship, I care about my partner but not in a fairytale way,” he said, adding that he does not believe in the idea of “perfect” love.

Blaqbonez further explained that his profession requires constant communication and engagement, which limits his ability to focus on one person. He added that meeting genuine partners is also difficult, as many encounters are influenced by his celebrity status rather than occurring naturally.

The rapper concluded that these factors make it harder for him, and other public figures, to build authentic and lasting romantic relationships.
