In a strong show of national solidarity, the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo has welcomed the patriotic appeal made by opposition leader Martin Fayulu, praising his deep sense of responsibility and commitment to national cohesion.
Presidential spokesperson Tina Salama confirmed earlier today that President Félix Tshisekedi has expressed his full readiness to meet with Mr. Fayulu. The goal: to save the Republic from growing threats of predation, institutional sabotage, and violations of territorial integrity.

Fayulu’s Message: A Nation on the Edge
In his emotional and hard-hitting declaration, Fayulu warned that “the hour is very serious”, accusing Corneille Nangaa and Joseph Kabila of aiding foreign exploitation and directly calling on President Tshisekedi to “not allow our generation to be the one that lets Congo disintegrate.”
He wrote:
Mr. Tshisekedi, I want to see you not for a favor, but for a direct discussion, no pretenses, no compromises, but out of patriotism, to find a dignified way out of this existential crisis.
His words lit a fire across the nation, demanding immediate action to stop the “massacres of our brothers and sisters” and calling for unity, dignity, and national resurrection

CALL TO RESPONSIBILITY
Congolese men and women, dear compatriots,
The hour is serious. It is very serious.
We are undoubtedly living through the darkest hours of our history. The balkanization of our country, feared since 1960, is no longer a distant threat: it is underway, moving quickly. We must stop it.
And for that, I solemnly address three compatriots: Corneille Nangaa, Joseph Kabila, and Félix Tshisekedi.
Mr. Nangaa,
I beg you: stop being complicit in the massacres of our brothers and sisters. Stop handing over our land, our lives, and our resources to foreign forces. Congolese blood can no longer be shed with your complicity. No ambition is worth the price of a people’s suffering.
Mr. Kabila,
No reason, no strategy, can justify aligning yourself with those who are tearing our country apart. The only path to redemption for our past mistakes is dialogue, not compromise. I urge you to leave Goma, this martyred city, now occupied with the complicity of foreign forces. History does not forgive betrayals, especially not betrayals against the homeland.
Mr. Tshisekedi,
You have the duty not to let our generation be the one that allowed Congo to disintegrate. I call on you for a surge of honor and responsibility. I want to see you, not for a favor, but for a direct discussion, without pretenses, without compromises, but out of patriotism, to find a dignified way out of this existential crisis.
Yes, if we must die for Congo to be reborn, let us die. But let our death be useful. May this fight be one of national resurrection.
Congolese people,
Let us raise high our proud foreheads,” these words from our national anthem must not remain empty. Let’s lift our heads, put down fear, and confront the situation. Let’s rise up, united, against foreign forces. Let’s refuse submission. Let’s reject fatalism. Let’s choose the homeland. Let’s build together, with pride and determination, a new future, because the blood of our ancestors has never been in vain.
Congo needs us.
Congo is calling us.
Congo is bleeding and waiting for us.
Congo is in need of all of us.
Let us answer this call.
May God bless Congo and its valiant people!
