Ugandan comedian Okello Joshua is scheduled to perform in Kigali at the Gen-Z Comedy show on March 26, 2026, at Camp Kigali, as part of his ongoing African tour.

The comedian, widely recognized for his unique stage style and engaging performances, will share the stage with several Rwandan comedians and entertainers. The lineup includes Dr Claude, Umushumba, Muhinde, Jonathan, Famille Gakuba, Ambassador w’Abakonsomateri, Lucky Baby, Keppa, MC Kandii, and Mus.

According to details of the tour, Okello Joshua is expected to perform in multiple cities across Africa, including Nairobi, Lusaka, Dar es Salaam, Juba, Harare, Gaborone, and Johannesburg. Additional shows are also scheduled in Kampala later in 2026.

Gen-Z Comedy has, since 2023, established itself as a key platform for comedy in Rwanda. The initiative brings together both established and emerging comedians, providing a space for talent development and live audience engagement.

Observers note that the platform has contributed to the growth of Rwanda’s comedy industry by introducing new performance styles and increasing the visibility of young comedians. It has also helped attract larger audiences to live comedy events.

The Kigali show is expected to draw a wide audience, reflecting the increasing popularity of live comedy and regional collaborations within Africa’s entertainment sector.
