💡 About This Role

The Specialist Functional Application Support will provide advisory and functional support services to clients, ensuring optimal usage and performance of application systems within the Department of Defence (DOD) National Codification System (NCS).

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

✔️ 3-year Diploma / Degree in ICT or related field (NQF level 6)✔️ OR Grade 12 with 5–6 years Functional Application Support experience on DOD NCS application✔️ 5–6 years’ direct experience in Functional Application Support

🛠️ Key Skills & Knowledge

• Deep understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Strong technical knowledge of application systems and environments

• Business process analysis and advisory capabilities

• Functional user acceptance and system testing

• Excellent communication (oral & written)

• Leadership, innovation, and customer service orientation

• DOD NCS Information System experience is advantageous
