Michael B. Jordan has paid tribute to his late Black Panther co-star Chadwick Boseman, sharing a personal memory that continues to keep their bond alive.
Speaking in BAFTA’s Playback video series, Jordan revealed that he keeps a stuffed black panther as a reminder of Boseman. He explained that seeing the toy immediately brings thoughts of his late friend and the experience they shared while working together.
Jordan starred as Erik Killmonger opposite Boseman’s T’Challa in Marvel’s 2018 blockbuster Black Panther, a film that achieved global success and cultural significance.
Boseman died in August 2020 at the age of 43 following a private four-year battle with colon cancer. After his passing, Jordan shared an emotional message on social media, describing Boseman as his “big brother” and honoring his legacy.
The tribute comes as Jordan marks a major career milestone. His latest film, Sinners, has made awards history with 15 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor.
