Marie Ngah entered Cameroonian football history on 16 August 2026.
Cameroon faced Malawi at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, with both countries chasing their first Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title. Malawi had reached the final in its first appearance at the tournament, while Cameroon had previously lost the deciding match in 2004, 2014 and 2016.
Ngah changed the game after 20 minutes. She scored the opening goal to give the Indomitable Lionesses an early advantage.
Naomi Ndjoah Eto doubled Cameroon’s lead ten minutes later. Eto then turned provider in the 45th minute of the first half, setting up Ngah for her second goal.
The 3–0 lead survived until the final whistle.
