Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has expressed concern over the rising cost of fuel and persistent electricity shortages in Nigeria, describing the situation as increasingly difficult for citizens.

In a video shared online, Remi said the economic conditions have become overwhelming, noting that he had previously avoided political discussions but now believes public engagement is necessary. He emphasized the need for Nigerians to ask questions and participate in conversations about national issues.

The actor cited his recent experience purchasing petrol at a significantly higher price, while also dealing with unreliable electricity supply. He noted that households and businesses are increasingly dependent on generators, adding to financial pressure.

Remi also highlighted the broader impact on daily life, stating that transportation costs have risen and are affecting workers’ earnings. According to him, the current economic situation is making it harder for many Nigerians to sustain their livelihoods.

He further questioned why Nigeria appears vulnerable to global events, referencing international developments that may be influencing fuel prices and economic stability.

Remi concluded by urging citizens to remain engaged and demand accountability, stressing that the challenges are affecting people across different sectors.
