American internet personality and live streamer IShowSpeed has arrived in Rwanda ahead of the highly anticipated Super Cup match between APR FC and Rayon Sports.

The social media star landed at Kigali International Airport in Kanombe on Friday night before heading to Musanze District, where he is scheduled to visit Volcanoes National Park to see mountain gorillas.

IShowSpeed had previously stated during his visit to South Africa that Rwanda would be his destination to experience gorilla tourism.

Due to the forest environment, the streamer said he may not conduct a live broadcast during the visit but plans to record videos and images of the experience.

Following his tour in Musanze, IShowSpeed is scheduled to attend the 2025 Super Cup matches at Amahoro Stadium. He will first watch the women’s Super Cup fixture between Rayon Sports and Indahangarwa, before attending the men’s Super Cup clash featuring APR FC and Rayon Sports.

IShowSpeed, who has more than 150 million followers across social media platforms, is currently touring Africa under his campaign titled “Speed Does Africa Tour.” The tour includes visits to over 20 African countries such as Rwanda, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.

The tour began on December 29, 2025, with the streamer using platforms such as YouTube and Twitch to showcase African culture, tourism, and daily life through live streams and recorded content.
