Nigerian rapper and activist Falz has criticised fellow celebrities, influencers, and government officials over their response to the recent killings in Kwara State, where nearly 200 people were reportedly killed.

In a video shared on social media platform X on Monday, Falz questioned the continued public support for the federal government despite the absence of arrests or prosecutions following the attack.

He expressed concern over what he described as widespread silence from influential figures in the entertainment industry.

Falz also criticised political leaders and religious figures, arguing that official reactions to repeated violent attacks have remained limited to statements without concrete action. He further referenced ongoing political campaigns and the lack of accountability surrounding national security failures.

The rapper additionally commented on the Senate’s position regarding amendments to the Electoral Act, particularly provisions related to real-time transmission of election results, linking governance failures to broader institutional weaknesses.

The video has since sparked renewed debate online about accountability, public influence, and the role of prominent voices in addressing insecurity in Nigeria.
