Dr Teal’s, the global personal wellness brand, closed the year with a culturally themed celebration titled Dr Teal’s Detty Experience Class of 2025, held on November 30 at the Monarch Event Centre in Lagos.

The event combined the brand’s self-care message with the vibrancy of a traditional Nigerian Owambe party, featuring cultural performances, local cuisine and a dedicated spa section for guests.

Mr. Chinedu Okoye, Managing Director and CEO of Perfect Trust Beauty and Wellness, the official distributor of Dr Teal’s in Nigeria, said the Owambe concept was designed to promote holistic wellbeing. According to him, the goal was to “re-energize and put customers in a relaxed, joyful state,” while reinforcing the brand’s appreciation for its consumers.

Vivian Odofin Daniel, Strategy Director for Dr Teal’s Nigeria, noted that the celebration reflected the brand’s alignment with Nigerian culture. She explained that wellness should be an accessible lifestyle rather than a luxury, adding that the Owambe theme was chosen to resonate with the country’s communal spirit of celebration after a challenging year.

Hosted by actress Shaffy Bello, the evening included musical performances, fine dining and spontaneous testimonials from guests praising products such as the lavender body wash and Epsom salt soak.

The event attracted notable personalities, including media figure Denrele Edun and former Big Brother Naija housemate Zita. It concluded with a lively dance session, leaving attendees refreshed ahead of the holiday season.
