Nigerian singer David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has said his lifestyle and priorities have changed following his marriage to Chioma Adeleke, according to a recent interview Why I no longer go clubbing – D….

Speaking on an episode of The Long Form podcast, the award-winning artist explained that he now prefers spending time at home with his family rather than going out to clubs, a shift he attributes to personal growth and family responsibilities.

Davido said that during his early rise to fame, he frequently went clubbing, describing that period as one marked by freedom, money and recklessness. He noted that this routine no longer appeals to him.

The singer revealed that during a recent stay of nearly two months in Nigeria, he did not attend clubs, choosing instead to relax at home, work in his studio and host small gatherings with friends. He added that even while travelling, he prefers staying in contact with his wife through video calls rather than social outings.

Davido clarified that he still attends professional engagements, including music performances and select social events hosted by close associates. However, he said his current focus is on family time and rest, which he now considers more important than nightlife.
