Ishimwe Prince, popularly known as Darest and formerly a member of the music group Juda Muzik, has legally married his partner, Iradukunda A. Souvenir, who resides in the United States. The civil marriage ceremony took place at the Nyarugenge Sector offices on November 27, 2025.

Following the legal union, the couple is expected to hold their traditional wedding ceremony on December 7, 2025. Darest proposed to Souvenir on January 10, 2025, formally expressing his intention to spend his life with her.

Their relationship began after they met at a mutual friend's event, where they exchanged phone numbers and started communicating regularly. This connection gradually grew into a strong romantic relationship.

Darest rose to prominence as part of Juda Muzik alongside Mbaraga Alex, now known as Malo Junior. The duo parted ways in 2023. In April 2025, Darest released his album titled Souvenir53, revealing that the name was inspired by his partner and dedicated to her as they prepared for marriage.
