Cardi B has publicly defended NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs following assault allegations made by his former personal chef, who claims she was physically attacked during a dispute over compensation.

The rapper addressed the allegations on social media after online users referenced the claims, which relate to an incident alleged to have occurred in early December. The former employee claims Diggs choked and slapped her during an argument over pay.

In response, Cardi B denied the allegations, stating that the former chef never reported any physical misconduct to her during the period of employment. She shared what she said was a screenshot of a text message from the former employee, though the full context of the exchange could not be independently verified.

The social media posts were later deleted without explanation.

Diggs’ legal representatives have denied the allegations. The case remains pending, and no legal findings have been issued.

According to court records, Diggs is scheduled to be arraigned on January 23.
