Asake Returns to Toronto With Uncle Waffles on World Tour

TORONTO, Canada — August 24, 2026 — Nigerian singer Asake has returned to one of Canada’s biggest concert stages, performing at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena as part of his ongoing In God We Trust World Tour.

The August 22 show brought the Afrobeats star back to the downtown Toronto arena more than two years after he previously performed at the venue in April 2024.

The official Scotiabank Arena event listing confirms that Asake’s 2026 Toronto concert took place on Saturday, August 22, with the show scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.

This time, the Nigerian hitmaker was joined on the bill by South African amapiano star Uncle Waffles, giving the concert a strong cross-African dimension.

Live Nation’s official event page lists both Asake and Uncle Waffles for the Toronto date, while Ticketmaster Canada also names the pair in the event lineup.

Asake returns to Scotiabank Arena two years later

The 2026 appearance was not Asake’s first performance at Scotiabank Arena.

Toronto publication NEXT Magazine listed Asake’s April 12, 2024 show at the arena as his first Canadian arena concert.
