AMVCA: Queen Trends Over Bread-Inspired Outfit

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Atang has sparked widespread reactions online after appearing at the 2026 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in a bread-inspired outfit.

Queen attended the event wearing a costume reportedly made from 500 loaves of bread, alongside a matching bread-themed prop. The unusual fashion statement quickly gained attention across social media platforms, with many users commenting on its creativity and presentation.

Guinness World Records later joined the online conversation after a video of the outfit was shared on Instagram. In the comment section, the organisation wrote, “Well, we do have a record for the largest cake dress … hmmm.”

Reacting to the comment, Queen responded: “Hello @guinnessworldrecords, I see you in the comment section.”

According to Guinness World Records, the current title for the world’s largest wearable cake dress weighs 131.15 kilograms and was achieved in Switzerland in January 2023 by Natasha Coline Kim Fah Lee Fokas of SweetyCakes GmbH.

Queen later explained that the outfit was inspired by her entrepreneurial journey in the bakery business.

“AMVCA 2026 ready. I come as an entrepreneur who runs a bread empire,” she wrote while unveiling the look online.

The reality TV star also called for greater recognition of entrepreneurs during entertainment events. In an open letter to MultiChoice Group and Africa Magic, she proposed the introduction of a special entrepreneurs’ showcase alongside the AMVCA activities.
