Music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has addressed growing speculation about his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawaru Idibia.

In a video shared online, the singer expressed concern over the situation, warning that circulating narratives could put his wife at risk.

“I am perfectly fine,” he said, appealing to the public to “calm down” and “cease fire.” He emphasized that while every family experiences challenges, public attention on his personal life has become excessive.

2Baba clarified that he did not post any messages online and repeatedly urged fans and followers to stop spreading rumors.

“This is a dangerous situation right now. It’s getting out of hand. I know what fans and people can do,” he said. “I am perfectly okay. But this is putting Natasha at risk. We need everyone to calm down and cease fire. We will resolve these issues privately.”

He concluded by reminding the public that family issues are common but should not be exploited in ways that cause harm or risk to loved ones.
