🎓 Qualifications
✔️ Master’s degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental, or related fields
✔️ 3–5 years’ experience in wind energy, renewable energy sector, or public sector project management
✔️ Knowledge of South Africa’s climate change commitments, carbon emissions reduction, and Just Transition frameworks

🛠️ Required Skills
Strong project management skills within renewable energy
Understanding of the Wind Atlas of South Africa (WASA) and its applications
Technical expertise in renewable energy data collection, analysis, and modelling
Excellent stakeholder communication and networking skills
Familiarity with SA’s Integrated Resource Plan and Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme
📌 Key Responsibilities
Act as Project Manager for WASA4 national coordination
Facilitate capacity building through partnerships with Danish universities (DTU)
Coordinate project reporting, knowledge management, and dissemination
Mentor SANEDI engineers, scientists, and interns to build local expertise
Support the development of offshore wind industry strategies in South Africa
