Keivo, whose full public name is Victor Ikpe, is a Nigerian web developer and reality-TV personality who became widely known as a housemate on Big Brother Naija Season 11, Show Ya Sef. His run ended on 29 September 2026 when Big Brother disqualified him after an incident the programme said escalated into physical violence. Before that exit, he had reached the final stretch of the season and won the Week Nine Head of House title.
The attention around his exit also renewed questions about who Keivo is away from the BBNaija house: his real name, age, home state, career, education and how far he went in the competition.
Who is Keivo from BBNaija? Keivo is Victor Ikpe, a 27-year-old Nigerian web developer from Benue State who joined Big Brother Naija Season 11 in July 2026. He became Week Nine Head of House before his run ended on 29 September, when Big Brother disqualified him following a physical altercation in the house.
Victor Ikpe is the real name behind Keivo
Africa Magic's official Keivo profile identifies him as Keivo (Victor Ikpe) and lists his career as web development. The profile also records his interests in video games, painting and drawing, with dancing listed as a hidden talent.
Keivo entered the show from Benue State. At the start of Season 11, Premium Times reported that he was 27 and described him as a front-end web developer. Pulse Nigeria's launch profile also identified Victor Ikpe as a 27-year-old front-end developer from Benue.
That combination of technology and creative interests made him one of several Season 11 contestants with careers outside entertainment before entering the house. XTRAfrica has similarly profiled technology-linked housemate Aikou and entrepreneur Mercedes as part of its coverage of the season.
His education and career before BBNaija
Keivo's public career identity before the show was in technology. Africa Magic lists him simply as a web developer, while major Nigerian launch coverage described him more specifically as a front-end web developer.
His academic background also became part of his BBNaija introduction. Premium Times reported that one of his proudest achievements was completing a Master's degree in Disaster Risk Management. Pulse carried the same field of study when introducing the Season 11 cast.

Those details matter because Keivo did not enter the programme as an established actor, musician or influencer. His visibility came primarily from the BBNaija platform itself. Africa Magic's profile records his reason for joining as the visibility the programme offered, placing the show at the centre of his transition from a technology professional into a nationally recognised reality-TV figure.
Keivo's rise inside the BBNaija house
Keivo lasted deep into Season 11 and eventually became one of the most prominent contestants in the final weeks. On 21 September, Africa Magic confirmed that he won the Week Nine Head of House challenge after finishing with the highest overall score across the challenge course.
The Head of House win gave him immunity for the week and placed him at the centre of the house shortly before the finale. It also followed an earlier near-win in the Week Eight Head of House contest.
His late-season rise mirrored other leadership moments XTRAfrica tracked during the competition, including Chimsom Chuka's second Head of House victory.
Why Keivo was disqualified from BBNaija
Keivo's run ended abruptly on 29 September 2026. Africa Magic's Day 65 live updates record Big Brother addressing the housemates at 4:00 PM WAT and announcing that Keivo had been disqualified after a disagreement from the previous night escalated into physical violence.
PUBLICITÉ
The programme said Keivo was identified as the person responsible for the violent act and removed him from the competition. Punch also reported the disqualification that afternoon, identifying the other housemate involved as Tram.
The decision came only days after Keivo had been functioning as Head of House and during the final week of the season. His exit therefore changed his story from that of a late-stage contender to one of the season's most sudden departures.
XTRAfrica's wider Season 11 coverage has also followed exits through the normal eviction process, including Cassi Ezenwoke Nwosu's Week Four eviction. Keivo's case was different because it was a disciplinary disqualification rather than a public-vote eviction.
Africa Magic listed Keivo's relationship status as single when he entered Season 11, and BellaNaija's cast profile published the same status at the launch of the show. That is the clearest verified public description of his relationship status tied directly to the programme.
