U.S Tourists are advised to apply for the visa early using Namibia’s online

Starting April 1, 2025, all U.S. citizens who want to visit Namibia must get a visa before entering the country.

Tourists are advised to apply for the visa early using Namibia’s online visa portal: https://eservices.mhaiss.gov.na/visaonarrival

Travelers using the online system must print and carry a hard copy of their visa approval when traveling.

Tourists arriving at Windhoek, Walvis Bay, or busy border points like Katima Mulilo and Ngoma can still buy a visa when they arrive. However, it is better to apply online first.

Namibia’s visa system is new, and some rules may still change.
