Over 100 energy companies will join the Power & Elec Tanzania Exhibition to showcase products and promote quality energy services in Tanzania.

DAR ES SALAAM – More than 100 energy companies from different countries will join an international exhibition in Dar es Salaam from Wednesday to Friday next week.

This event is happening shortly after the Africa Energy Summit took place in the city.

The exhibition, called ‘Power & Elec Tanzania International Exhibition,’ is organized by Exhibitions and Trade Services India Pvt Ltd (ETSIPL) in partnership with the Tanzania Renewable Energy Association (TAREA).

Dr. Matthew Matimbwi, the Executive Secretary of TAREA, shared details about the event, saying that companies from Tanzania, India, South Africa, Oman, Austria, Zambia, and Kenya will participate.

“TAREA and ETSIPL are working together to grow the Power & Elec Industry and explore new opportunities in Tanzania’s energy sector,” Dr. Matimbwi said during a press conference in Dar es Salaam on Thursday.

He emphasized that the goal is to provide Tanzanians with high-quality energy services, as discussed in the recently concluded Africa Energy Summit. He also noted that there are many low-quality energy products in the Tanzanian market.

Mr. Vijayanka Brighuvanshi, Director of ETSIPL, mentioned that many different products will be displayed during the exhibition.

“We have received strong support from the industry and different organizations. Some of our key partners include the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (TCCIA), TaTEDO – SESO, Tanzania Energy Association (TEA), National Commercial Directory (NCD), Crayon Media Agency, and the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TANTRADE),” Mr. Brighuvanshi said.

TCCIA’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Steven Ngalya, encouraged Tanzanian businesspeople to make use of this exhibition to expand their businesses and learn more about the energy sector.
