Three of the four members of the music group Sauti Sol performed in Kigali during the "Sol Fest Kigali Pre Party" concert. This event took place at Kigali Universe on November 30, 2024, and featured top Rwandan artists like Mike Kayihura, Ariel Wayz, and Burundian artist Drama T.

The show began at 11 PM with Ariel Wayz singing her popular songs such as "You Should Know," "Shayo," and "Demo." Next, Mike Kayihura performed hits like "Anytime," "Jaribu," and "Sabrina," receiving a warm reception from the audience.

Sauti Sol, the main act of the night, performed without Bien-Aimé Baraza, who was absent due to another concert in Tanzania. When they arrived in Kigali, Savara Mudigi announced Bien-Aimé’s absence. Despite this, the remaining trio thrilled fans with hits like "Melanin" and "Suzana."

The event concluded with a surprise performance by Drama T from Burundi, who sang his songs "For Your Love" with Juno and the popular "Kosho," loved by Kigali audiences.

The concert was sponsored by Skol Brewery Ltd, with DJ Sonia and DJ June entertaining the crowd throughout the night.

The "Sol Fest Kigali Pre Party" is a prelude to the main Sol Fest event scheduled for December 19-21, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya. The festival will feature VIP shows on December 19 and a general music event on December 21, with artists like Khaligraph Jones and Nyashinski expected to perform.
