Rwandan Police refutes arrest rumors of Miss Muheto Divine, clarifying misinformation circulating on social media.

The Rwandan Police has denied claims that Miss Muheto Divine was arrested, following widespread rumors on social media.

Police spokesperson ACP Boniface Rutikanga stated that the circulating reports were false. Miss Muheto also addressed the rumors in a voice message shared online, saying,

"I am fine and safe. These are baseless rumors. I don’t know where they are coming from or who is spreading them, but they are untrue."

The rumors appear linked to a past incident where Miss Muheto faced legal issues for driving under the influence without a valid driver’s license. On November 6, 2024, the Kicukiro Primary Court released her but gave her a suspended three-month sentence and fined her 190,000 Rwandan Francs.
